Coming in 2014: Mathzor+

With Common Core state standards just around the corner, schools are getting ready to redefine their expectations for student achievement. These new standards require greater problem solving skills and shy away from rote memorization. Students need to be able to better apply what they learn, and connect across concepts. Mathzor is setting out to change assessment in the classroom.

Mathzor Plus is a turnkey solution for assessing student mastery on standards throughout the year. Educators know the value of quarterly testing and diagnostic reporting, but there's a delay between students filling in bubbles and receiving reports, and an even longer delay between rounds of assessment. Mathzor+ allows you to do standards-based testing on a daily basis and receive actionable data to better help guide instruction between your regular mega assessments.

How it Works

Whether you have desktops, laptops, or tablets, you'll be able to take short quizzes each day with your class. You'll be able to choose any set of standards to cover (allowing you to conduct pre- and post-tests), and work through short quizzes. These can be synchronized as a class, or completed individually by students. A Mathzor+ subscription will unlock new reports for teachers and principals, allowing you to track mastery over time. You'll be able to see at-a-glance what standards are causing your class (or even a particular student) trouble and those which you can go through a little quicker.
